Conference on Language and Law held in Porto

The Master’s Programme in Specialised Translation and Interpreting of the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP/P.PORTO) and the Porto School of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa hosted the Conference on Language and Law, on 26 and 27 October 2023. Patrícia Jerónimo was a member of the Scientific Committee and chaired a panel on the role of the interpreter in the courts, where she gave a presentation entitled “Language barriers in the practice of Portuguese courts: Attempt at a diagnosis”.
