The team of the project CUREDI, led by Marie-Claire Foblets, hosted the CUREDI Annual Conference at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, in Halle, on 11-13 October 2023. The overall theme of this year’s edition was Translation and the Quest for Justice in Plural Societies: A Complex and Challenging Exercise. The keynote speakers were Ann Power (Court of Appeal, Ireland), Michele Graziadei (University of Turin), Anthony Good (University of Edinburgh), and Monica Sandor (Financial Services and Markets Authority). Patrícia Jerónimo was one of the respondents to Monica Sandor’s presentation on translating the law, and gave a presentation on the object, objectives and methods of the project InclusiveCourts.
