InclusiveCourts’ researchers at the Law and Society Association Annual Meeting, Washington DC, 30 May to 2 June 2019

Patrícia Jerónimo, Manuela Ivone Cunha, Benedita Mac Crorie and Miriam Rocha were in Washington DC for the Law and Society Association Annual Meeting, which took place between 30 May and 2 June 2019. The overall theme of the Meeting was “Dignity”. InclusiveCourts was represented in the proceedings with a panel entitled “Dignity, equality and cultural difference in the practice of domestic courts in Europe”. Besides the members of the team, the panel included Alison Dundes Renteln, from the University of Southern California, a leading scholar on the topic of multicultural jurisprudence.
