Democracy Building and Constitutional Justice

The Portuguese Constitutional Court co-organised, with the Committee for the Commemorations of the 50 years of the Carnation Revolution, a conference on the topic of Democracy Building and Constitutional Justice, which was held at the Lisbon Science Academy, on 24 October 2024.

InclusiveCourts researcher A. Sofia Pinto Oliveira was one of the guest speakers, having taken part in the panel on Integration and Inclusions (Portugal in the world: Immigration, asylum and nationality acquisition), together with Maria José Rangel Mesquita, Constitutional Court Justice between 2012 and 2021, under the chairmanship of Gonçalo de Almeida Ribeiro, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court.
