Round Science Meetings: Migration and Mobility among Global Spaces

Nicole Friedrich, InclusiveCourts’ collaborator and PhD student at the Law School of the University of Minho, was one of the speakers in the debate organized by the UMinho Doctoral College, with a presentation on “Ethnic minorities, indigenous peoples and cultural diversity in the case law of international human rights courts: Opportunities for inter-judicial dialogue in the European, American and African systems”. The debate was held at the Gualtar Campus of the University of Minho on 17 April 2024. It was the first edition of the cycle Round Science Meetings, which is designed to foster interdisciplinary dialogue among doctoral students and researchers on current and cross-cutting topics, from diverse perspectives and to stimulate productive exchanges.

Besides Nicole Friedrich, the speakers were Leonardo Menezes (School of Arts and Humanities), João Marcos (Institute of Education), Filipa Correia (Institute of Social Sciences) and Mohamad Fouad Hanifa (School of Architecture, Arts and Human Sciences). The debate was chaired by Liliana Oliveira of RUM (Minho University Radio Station).
