InclusiveCourts’ researchers take part in international conference Humanity/Humanities on the Move

Andreia Sofia Pinto Oliveira, Fernando Ferreira Alves and Maria José Casa-Nova took part in the international conference Humanity/Humanities on the Move, which was held at the Diogo de Sousa Archeologic Museum and at the Gualtar Campus of the University of Minho, in Braga, between 27 and 29 April 2022. Andreia Sofia Pinto Oliveira chaired the session with Gábor Gyulai, Refugee Programme Director of the Hungarian Helsinki Committee, about credible asylum claims vs credible asylum systems. Fernando Ferreira Alves chaired the session with Joanna Drugan, of East Anglia University, about ethical communication in contexts of migration and transnational organised crime. Maria José Casa-Nova chaired the session with Carlos Estêvão, of the Portuguese Catholic University, about the complexity of the Human in Human Rights. The conference was organised by the Centre for Humanistic Studies of the University of Minho (CEHUM), and is part of the project Humanistic Studies in Migrations & Marginalization (EHUM2M), with which InclusiveCourts has collaborated on other occasions.
