InclusiveCourts’ researchers take part in workshop on Democracy and News Media

Andreia Sofia Pinto Oliveira, Clara Calheiros and Patrícia Jerónimo were among the guest speakers of the workshop on Democracy and News Media, organised at the Research Centre for Justice and Governance (JusGov), with the participation of several other JusGov researchers. Andreia Sofia Pinto Oliveira gave a presentation on freedom of expression in light of the Portuguese Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights, Clara Calheiros talked about COVID-19 and political populism in Portugal, while Patrícia Jerónimo gave a presentation about media, misinformation and citizenship, mapping priorities for political action and academic research. The workshop was held online on the 5th of March 2021.
