Gender, Law and Citizenship at the Sorbonne

The Conference Feminism Law and Citizenship had its second edition on 8 to 10 September 2024. It was once again organised by Rosemary Auchmuty (University of Reading, UK) and Alexandrine Nedelec (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France), and was held at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Patrícia Jerónimo acted as speaker in a panel on Theory and Policy, chaired by Rebecca Smyth (Birmingham City University, UK), with a paper titled “Intersectionality as interpreted by domestic courts and equality bodies in Europe: Is Portugal on the right track?”. Also speakers on the panel were Annick Masselot (University of Canterbury, New Zealand) and Yaoqi Zheng (University of Durham, UK).
