Lorena Ossio Bustillos spoke about the challenges of egalitarian legal pluralism in Latin America, focusing on the social benefits programmes aimed at indigenous peoples, while Ingo Wolfgang Sarlet spoke about the constitutional legal framework for the guarantee of ethnic and racial equality and the fight against racism in Brazil, including affirmative action. The seminar was organized by Patr\u00edcia Jer\u00f3nimo, who chaired and acted as discussant.
